Allah is Ar-Razzaq, the Provider, the Nurturer.
What does that mean for you personally?
It means everything you have ever or will ever own/possess, receive, be compensated or rewarded for; as well as anything you have ever lost or will ever lose is already written and decreed. He is the One who determines who gets what and how much in this life (and the next) and distributes it as He wills.
NOTHING you do or anyone else does will add to or decrease from whatever He portions for you.
This society, coupled with the increasingly cutthroat culture of social media, has created so much toxic competition. Every day we’re bombarded with messages about “haters”, “biters”, and “copycats”, and in response more and more people are motivated to act by envy, jealousy, hatred, financial anxiety, and spiritual weakness.
But in the end, it’s all futile. Any rivalry, aside from healthy spiritual vying, is utterly pointless and a waste of time.
Don’t get caught up worrying about what anyone else is doing, or if they’re doing better than you. If they are, even if they haven’t worked nearly half as hard as you have but are doing twice as better, do you question Ar-Razzaq? Do you question His generosity? Do you question His justice?
If you truly BELIEVE that He is the All-Seeing, All-Knowing, and the Most Just, then you shouldn’t–for even a single moment—doubt that in the end, EVERYONE will get what they deserve.
Some people may see the fruits of their efforts here, while others will have great things waiting for them in the next life.
The point is to TRUST in Him, TRUST in His process, and do what our Beloved ﷺ commanded us to do: be generous and want for others what we want for ourselves.
We must reject the toxicity around us and increase our love and sincerity towards one another. We must promote good will and generosity towards one another by wishing for one another’s success not always worrying about our own.
May we enter the upcoming new year with a healthier and more spiritually grounded outlook, and may we learn to know Ar-Razzaq more intimately and put our trusty solely in Him. Amin.

You are nothing but a number of days. Whenever a day passes away, a part of you passes away.
Hasan al Basri
“My heart is at ease knowing that what was meant for me will never miss me, and that what misses me was never meant for me.”
Imam Al-Shafi‘i
This.
Resting your forehead on the ground.
Wetting your arms and face with the water of wudhoo’.
Raising your hands in supplication to the Almighty.
Tears streaming down your cheeks as you beg His forgiveness.
This.
It’s the only reason you are alive.
It’s the only reason you have a place on earth.
It’s the only reason you have air in your lungs, a tongue in your mouth, and the blessings you enjoy each day.
So dear soul, why do you rush through these spiritual moments, mind wandering, heart disengaged—as if you’ve something more urgent, more important to do?
Are you in a hurry to gather yet more of those things that you’ll be compelled to leave behind when you are lowered beneath the ground?

Oh gawd, i miss Turkey. The Asian part especially.
How is it possible that you will always miss the country that you travel to and hoping to come back again one day?
